The middle child among 5 children, Cindy Wade Markham was born in Steubenville, Ohio, and moved to Attapulgus, Georgia at the age of 15. She graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1982 and later moved to Bainbridge in 1988 as a single mom of two. Cindy started working at Kres Jewelers where she met her husband Ken, and in 1993 they were married in the First Presbyterian Chapel by pastor Ken McKenzie.
Cindy now has 2 grown children and 7 grandchildren. When she heard that there was an opening for the job of Office Manager at First Presbyterian Church, Cindy felt a connection and a calling to apply. She’s extremely happy to be a part of this wonderful family.
