Flint River Presbytery is once again sponsoring the presbytery-wide Rise Against Hunger (RAH) event to be held on October 3, World Communion Day.

That day, nutritionally complete meals which will sent around the world to people in need will be packed at four locations in the presbytery. First Presbyterian Moultrie has volunteered to be one of those locations.

Approximately 70 volunteers will be needed to pack 10,000 meals, most of which can be done while sitting. Packing begins at 2:00 and will last until all the meals are packed, 3-4 hours depending on how many volunteers participate. Participation from our church will be most appreciated and will be a blessing to the participation. In addition, it’s a great opportunity for Christian fellowship with other Presbyterians from our presbytery. Please feel free to contact the church office if you have any questions.
